    me and my cousin went out to the jewel yesterday and got some action. all of the action was off plastics though. we tryed throwing the big baits but it wasnt the right condition. I only caught one fish the whole day on a GYC bait. it was only about 2 to 2 1/2 pounds but at least i finally caught one off shore. my cousin had about a 4 or 5 on but it got off. we each had a couple more bites throught the day but we missed um

    Default that's great news!

    Hopefully they are slowly creeping up to within casting distance! Ready for the warm weather. I was out the other day for an hour, no hits, no sign of bass at all. It will be nice to be able to catch them without having to cough up the dough for a rental!

    I'm thinking of hitting the place up tomorrow and giving the shoreline another go.
