Been waiting for this and finally its here...the 500 series is the perfect size for panfishing...its small and light for catching those little suckers i found out they released it so i went straight to BPS and picked it up because i didn't want to wait a couple days for delivery

Nice reel. Were you fishing at El Dorado by chance yesterday?

Panfishing AND trout. I have a 500 Sedona that is old but much loved and used. The 500 series is the best small stream/ high country reel size, IMO, and for years it was difficult to get a high quality reel other than some of the older Sedonas in the 500, though the Daiwa Spinmatics are not bad. Now I can upgrade my Sedona. With a 500 series setup and another for something more along the lines of 1000 size, one has the perfect setup to fish any trout water

yeah, we caught/picked-up an old man who fell over some rocks when we were fishing Other than that, the bite was DEAD. There were no signs of life anywhere.
