More News on the WON Derby April 18th!
Good afternoon FNN:
I want to clarify and inform you of a couple of things regarding the Western Outdoor News Tournament. WON has rented the entire facility for this event and the tournament is being put on and run by Western Outdoor News not Irvine Lake. Irvine Lake is merely providing the venue, food sales, shuttle service and we will have the tackle shop open for business. This event has been a sell- out where ever it’s gone so if you are interested, get your tickets early.
Anyone without a Western Outdoor News tournament ticket will not be allowed to enter the park for the event. In other words there will be no general admission traffic allowed to fish that day.
We are taking boat, pontoon and camp reservations in advance for this special tournament. Only those people who have proof of purchase into the tournament will be allowed to make reservations. All reservations must be paid for in advance with a credit card no exceptions.
For such a large event, we will have plenty of security and everything will be planned and thought out carefully. We will be providing transportation to areas on the lake that are usually inaccessible, for example we will be running a West Shore shuttle and we will be opening up the very Eastern parts of the Santiago Flats to vehicles and possibly camping.
