Default Shadow Cliffs and Los Vaqueros

So this is my first post on here....I live in Santa Barbara but im originally from the bayarea and fished the area lakes pretty frequently. The first day i went to los vaqueros and tried for some trout. Got there around twelve noon and dint start catching fish till about six. I was throwing out a 1/4 ounce blue fox and caught about 4 rainbows and 2 lmb near the south cove. Second day went to Shadow cliffs and realized they had just planted rainbows and Thunder Trout the day before. For those that dont know Thunders are a hybrid trout bred for there fighting capabilities. Boy are they fighters. Caught about four on a small rainbow rapala. They dint seem to wanna bite anything else. There were some large rainbows and LMB swimming around as well. Overall it was a pretty fun trip.

Welcome to the FN boards. Nice looking fish you caught there.

What do you mean by, "Caught about four on a smallrainbow Rapala"? Either you did or you didn't.

Thanks for the report and the pic.

Anyways, I've seen those jumping up at Hesperia Lake.
