Skinner 1-25
Awesome morning at Skinner! Lots of puddling trout if you like trout fishing. Threw z-plugs, snobby rainbows and TT's until 10:30 for nada. Saw one HUGE boil right when we got there. Look like a freaking yellowtail boil..was huge! But that was it, no sign's of life from the Stripers. Water was down about 30 feet from a few weeks ago. So far I'm 0-5 on stripers this season!!!! Get a rope!!

Water dropping that fast, bait, and all natural fish of the lake (not stock trout) pull away from the bank and find a nice deep creek chanel, ledge, or deep structure to cosy up to and wait out the water fluctuation. Rapid change in water level, up or down is about the worst that can happen to fishing.
