    Default TICA reels

Anyone ever tried them? The CM is a great round reel, even better than a Calcutta and the Sculptor is a killer low profile baitcaster. Both reels have 12 bearings, magnetic cast control, easy takedown, 6 disc drags, CNC machined frames, an amazing amount of stuff for the price. I'm getting a Sculptor. It even has an aluminum body, not plastic. They can be had for a little over $100 if you look around, including shipping! That company makes reels for other manufacturers like Daiwa and Shimano, who then rebrand them and sell them as their own product.

They have a good reputation. Never used one, but they've gotten some decent reviews. Funny thing is companies like TICA and Okuma pretty much make the reels for everybody. The CNC machining they make and corporate expanse of these two companies make Shimano and Daiwa look like little guys.
