Stumpy Meadows

Went there a week after it was stocked and caught a few on powerbait. Caught three with my co-workers the fist day and one by myself the next day. Had a nice BBQ afterwards. None of them were terribly large, typical stockers.

Good job! Looks like you had a great time. Do they allow boats on that lake?

Yes they do! I was fishing right by the parking lot/boat ramp. I've been making a killing at a lot of the local lakes lately. I don't know if I'm just getting better or my luck has started to turn around. I guess I could post a few more reports but these Nor Cal boards are so dead.

Well it sounds like you've been putting your time in! Yeah, I've noticed there's not too much posting in this section, but I still check it out from time to time. I love the fishing up there. Thanks for the info.
