    Default Jan. 13 Report - One Shy of Limit

    It was pretty windy that day but my buddy (Panda) and I arrived at the lake around 7:30am. We headed over to Santiago Flats and set up for the day. Around 10:30am I landed a 1lb trout. It was looking pretty slow so we decided to move about 100 feet south of where we were. I don't know if was the new location or just random luck but the trout starting biting like crazy around 11:30am. We caught 8 1-3lb trout within the hour and called it a day around 1pm.

    As we were wrapping up two guys showed up in our previous spot and caught 3-4 trout. I don't know what they were using but we were using the green power worms with a white salmon egg dipped in corn scent mixed a little garlic scent. We had a blast!
