Castaic 1/10...very sloooow

Have been out of the game for a while so decided to hit castaic last Friday to see if we can get some stripers.

Hit the lake at 7:00 am, trolled the regular areas, hit the points on the fish arm with no bites at all. Metered fish at about 25-35 feet of water which were hugging the bottom but couldnt get any to bite.

Wind from the NE picked up in the early afternoon so decided to bait down at the buoy line. Threw out some chovies and frozen shad but they didnt want any of that.

Decided to drift some areas that we were marking fish because the wind was too much for anchoring but again got nothing.

It was a very nice day hanging gout with friends but though day of fishing...oh well might be heading up to the sierras this weekend.
