Not too bad for a starter freezer. Too bad I bought a 17cu ft freezer last year. Good luck with the sale.

5 cu.ft. sounds small, but it held 2 processed deer from last year along with other bulk items. i dont see needing anything bigger than a 7 cu.ft. ever. even with all of the venison there was still plenty of room.I have another 5 ft. with 110 bags of anchovies and a bunch of squid in it. it is all i need :)

I bought it with the intention of doing a 8-10 day long range trip last year. but the trip was never a go, we didn't get enough people for the trip. I've seen the catch that my friends bring back from 10-13 day trips and the 5 and 7 cu ft. freezers barely hold half of what they bring back.

i think that is a tribute to the success of a long range trip!! would love hit a long range trip but that is a long ***** time on a boat! plus the fish would get freezer burn b-4 i could eat it all!!! :)
