Default Skinner problem - no licenses!

Went to Skinner for the first time on Monday, to try the striper and trout action. Got there, 3 adults, 2 kids. THEY RAN OUT OF NEW LICENSES! Only the 6th day of the new year and they didn't have any. So what a disappointment as only the 2 kids could throw a line in. Nicely, they gave us our money back at the end, but so frustrating. We only stayed 2 hours, threw some chovies at the inlet and fished some powerbait near ramp 2. No bites at all. Saw some readings on the sonar on the bottom at 30 feet, but we didn't fish real hard. Next time. (And we will get out licenses somewhere else first!)
