    Default help for elisabeth lake

    Hi everyone, i am planning on heading out to elisabeth lake tomorow for the first time. I wanted to know what kind of fish to try for and what bait and rig to use there. i would appreciate any help and tips. thanks in advance.

    That lake is pretty much a dead lake right now
    No fish, except for Bullheads
    Bad algae
    Very stinky no water circulation
    Polluted

    DFG has not stocked since last year
    All the fish were pretty much floating by the beginning of summer last year

    if it is dead, then what other lakes are good now to go to. I live in Glendale, i have experience fishing, but im not a pro. I just want to catch some fish :p

    Glendale??
    probably Castiac or Castaic lagoon for shore fishing, closer/easier drive also??

    I agree with Nessie Hunter. Dont bother with Elizabeth go to Castaic.
