    Default Bear Creek

Has anyone been to Bear Creek in San Bernadino? A few friends and I were thinking of making the trip there. Any tips on where to park and which trail to take? Also, most of the stuff I've read says mostly fly fisherman go there. Is it only good for fly fishing there? Thanks.

I fished it a few times about 5 years ago. A friend of mine with a 4WD drove so I couldn't tell you how he got there. I'd suggest checking the regulations before you go because a lot of the streams up there are artificial lure / barbless hook / catch and release only (or lower limits).

yes bear creek is primarily fly fishing. you might be able to get a couple on rooster tails etc... but its illegal cause the hooks have barbs.

................ do not let the fish see you! if you spook them you will not catch them!
