    Hey i am new to the fishing game and i was wondering if you guys have any tips on what type of rigs or lures i should use for trout in this time of year. I will be doing most of my fishing off shore.

    1/8 oz slip-sinker rig with powerbait or gulp dough

    4-6lb main line 2lb leader

    That sounds awesome, i have heard a lot about these panther martin spinners. do they work alright?

    Panter martins are my favorite, don't forget Kastmasters as are great too.

    You may want to take a few minutes to go thru the "tips" section of this website. It looks like there is a lot of good info there.

    medium sized bass crankbaits work good too

    I have my best luck throwing out Roostertails and Thomas Buoyants. Most trout around here also like inflated nightcrawlers. Use a size 6 or 8 mosquito hook with those.
