Hang w/Dr Hook,TM65 and The Magic Man Mitz

On 12/31/2008 arrived at the Vine at 5:20 am. I was suppose to meet "Dirty Girl" (Chrissy) and her son Garrett. I left my cell at home and couldn't call her to see if she had arrived. I saw the "Magic Man" Mitz standing on the other side of the ticket booth. I asked him to relay a message to her that I was here. Picked up some night crawlers and was on my way to "Trout Island" It was still kind of dark. I got out of the car to see if they had room. I heard someone yelled "Mondo!" I said who is it? He said Dr. Hook! He said come over I'll make room for you. I set up next to the famous "Dr. Hook" He was on fire kicking Trout butt! It was comical seeing him go from one pole to the other. The Magic Man showed up and stayed a while. Mitz called up Troutman65 and he showed up and fished w/us.
I said Art why are you catchin fish and I'm not? Mitz says let me see your set-up. Let him see it,Mitz says what is this?! Mitz have jokes He and Art set up both my rods and not long after,I started kicking butt,but not as much... Caught 3 total. I even caught one while I was on the toilet Thanks to Dr. Hook!
After a while there was this 8 year old kid out there w/Dad and Grandpa. The adults was fishing more than Arik. Art got another bite.set the hook and called Arik over and let him land the fish,over and over and he let Arik keep the fish also. The kid lit up like a Christmas Tree. Nice going Art. Art also fed us. He made a phone call to his daughter and asked us what kind of burrito we wanted and they were delivered. I got to met his daughter and grandson Nate. Nice family. Jimmy showed up for about 10 mins before his shift. He set a line out and caught a fish within 5 mins. Nice Jimmy.I met a couple of other people,didn't get there names. Dad and adult son,nice peps too. Dirty Girl showed up with her son Garrett and chatted. I left at 1:30pm,long drive home.Overall I had a "Fantabulous Time" I was in very good company. Thanks Guys. Fishing with Art (Dr. Hook) is always fun! Sooner or later Im gonna talk him into using that Sabre fishing pole! Hahahahaha! Just kiddin' Art!

I'm looking forward to seeing all you guys on the 17th, and thanks for sharing the photos too! Just make em a little bigger next time for all us guys that are almost legally blind! LOL!
