Casitas 12/29
Fished Casitas yesterday with guide Sean James of So Cal bass fishing. That guy definitely knows his stuff and we were able to have a slow pick at the bass all day on shad. The biggest was just under 6lbs and we had several breakoffs on the light line in the sticks. The bite looked like it was starting to pick up later in the day, but I wanted to get some swimbait instruction so we left them biting and tried chucking trout swimbaits. We got a follow from a DD fish but no bite. The highlight of the trip was a 3.5lb holdover trout caught on shad while fishing for bass.
