Monday was once again really crowded.
Seems the trout really bring out the crowds.
I was 1st to launch but had motor problems again. After messing with the motor for an hour, I was able to it make back to the flats. Tons of boats all around the lake but nobody back by the creek? The fish were all over back there. Many jumpers everywhere and no fishermen to be seen. Needless to say I was able to get a limit. I also lost many more extremely hard fighters.
I was surprised by the fight of rather small fish, it was incredible.
I also seen a injured coyote back there trying to catch some mud-chickens.
It looked pretty hungry so if you're gonna be back there with small kids or pets, keep an eye out.

Crowded on a Monday? Maybe because the kids are on x-mas vacation perhaps? Sorry to hear about the motor issues, but it sounds like you had a good day regardless. Thanks for the report Steve.
