    Default I need a swimbait rod

    hey im going fishing on wenesday and unfortunetly i dont have a swimbait rod. i have everything else. i have 130 in cash but cant pick it up. so it would have to be brought to me. i live in riverside off the 215 and van buren blvd.

    im most interested in okuma 7'11" xh.

    what type of swimbaits you plan on throwing with the 7'11 okuma?? you wont beable to chuck bbz's or huds to heavy for that rod. you will need a heavier model .

    im planning on bbz's.

    that rod is rated 2-10

    id be okay with just the heavy but im planning on getting some heavier baits also.

    i recomend a crucial heavy or xh. i use a med heavy crucial which recomends 3-5in baits but i throw bbz, hudds, lunkerpunkers, 10in triple trouts with no probs. i am getting the next level which is for 5-8in baits. good luck finding one you like.

    dont sweat it its cool. i just hope you have some good luck while getting into throwing the the bigger baits
