Almost everything in the main stream will be booked up for the new year party time...

You might try one of the Indian Casinos, Some are pretty nice, close and yet out of the way...

A little room service, massage, Spa treatment etc etc, goes a long way for some Romance..

We lived there in Vegas for 3 years.. Went to the strip once and it was not that great of an experience.. A fight broke out right in front of us. The guy missed the guy he was trying to kick and kicked me right in the shin No walking room either you are up on the back of the person in front of you and the person behind you is up on your back. The crowd is massive. The guy in front of the guy I was behind fell making the guy in front of me fall then I fell on him and the person behind fell on me.. I got pretty banged up that night.. Just to be able to experience the life of the Las Vegas strip during New Years.. Plus now all hotels are booked you'll be lucky to find one that has any openings now.. If you do find a hotel with availability celebrate the New Year in the Hotel.. Get a pimp house suite at the RIO.. Those are SWEET!! You can throw some nice parties in the sweets.

try "pine moutain rentals", theyre located near frazier park and the prices are very reasonable. This will be our third year renting there, and its not really a club you have to join.....Good luck with your search!

Wow! Sorry to hear that. I had a great time in Vegas on New Years Eve. I was on the strip in front of Bally's during the count down. It did get pretty wild in the streets. Like you said, the crowds were massive, with no room to walk, but I still had a blast.

oh don't get me wrong... It was quit the experience.. Pretty awesome to be able to say I was on the strip in Las Vegas for New Years.. Awesome experience if you don't count all the bumps and bruises..

If we ever went back.. I would just get a room that has the view of the strip and watch from there and throw a big ole party in the room. Much safer.

several years ago I took my wife out to Catalina 'round this time of year. Had no problem getting a room. Not crowded at all. A great time.
