Thread: DVL stocker trout

    Default DVL stocker trout

Headed out today with the old man, my son and nephew today. We shot into a cove that was loaded with trout and the kids wanted to stay and slay awhile. The kids and pops probably caught somewhere close to 30 fish between the two of them before we moved on.

We moved around to various spots with the kids tossing swim baits for the fun of it. But the wind was dead and odds were against any swim bait bite materializing. Headed back for more trout action for the last hour and a half to keep the kids entertained, and they proceeded to catch another 20+ fish.

It was a fun outing and sure beat getting the skunk...All fish released.

It's always a comical day with the kids and pops together.

    Tight lines all

Nice running into you again FsteelGary take care bro........we'll have to hook up here in the near future.
