    Default Ninja in the backyard!

There was a break in the weather this morning so I went and fished my favorite backyard ninja hole before jumping off with the christmas day plans. Fished for about an hour and got quite a mixed catch. I got a couple of tilapia, some kind of weird looking fish, and a turtle?!? that little sucker put up one heck of a fight tho .....

......any1 kno what kind of fish this is?

That's a plecostomas (algae eater) that someone must have released from a fish tank. They're extremely common in hobby fishtanks.

    Nice tilapia, cool pleco.

We never did get into any bigger models over at Balboa this season. Population cycle? We'll be out there next summer though.

Turtles got four webbed feet and they can pull real good for a little while.

That Pleco was almost big enough to fillet with Hash Browns and Ketchup.

Tilapia for the most part just get in the way of the fish I wanna catch.
