Lakes open on Xmas?

Anybody know what the schedule is for lakes like Silverwood, Hemet, Puddingstone...if they are open today for shore fishing, always open for shore fishing or access closed for the holiday? Is this typical on all holidays?

It would be nice if the DFG had a consolidated schedule for lake access posted online. Its like a crapshoot out here in California anytime a guy wants to go to a lake. One day Pyramid is open then the next day it's closed because Fatso didn't get her breakfast burrito on time or didn't feel like driving into work because it was 'too cold and rainy'.

For instance, in Washington or Texas you just go whenever and wherever the hell you feel like it 99% of the time and no problems.
