    Default Where to use swimbaits?

I'm taking my son fishing soon and want to hit the bass with trout swim baits. Taking the bass boat out.

    Where would you go?

Castaic, DVL, Casitas, Perris.... Silverwood, Pyramid, the Lagoon, etc etc etc.

Anywhere with 2lb bass or better. If they stock trout your chances will probably go up few percent, but they don't have to stock trout for the bass to take the bait!

I can't wait until they make a baby bass BBZ SS.

Don't bring your bass boat to DVL or Casitas though. Unless you want some practice towing...

    leave the boat at home.
get a rental at dvl and fish deep.
dont know what kind of swimbaits you have , so its a bit harder to help you.

    1) with floaters, fish the east dam
    2) slow sink or fast sink, fish the points, at the very deepest part.

don't bring your boat to d.v.l. due to water low level, you need to rent a boat there. Skinner you can bring your boat to there.

Pyramid or Castiac I don't know if you can bring boat. I heard Castiac is pretty low level water. I am not sure.
