where are the rock crabs?

seems like only the reports from LBC/LA Harbor have people catching crabs. I've caught a couple of very tiny crabs hoopin in OC but they are the really small ones you see on the jetty's and pier pilings. Anyone know if the oil islands have them in long beach and bugs too in that area too? thanks

Although me and the HESBROS have been doing great on the Bugs there are very few Crab and very seldom a legal.

2 years ago when I first got into Hoopin We had great success from Balboa Pier 3/4 of the way out. I know it is on a pier but had much greater success than what I see coming up in LB/LAH. A bad night at Balboa was over 20 keepers!!!!!!!1
