    Default Sanddabs

    Hey there guys,

I will be heading out this weekend for a sanddab trip and I need some recipes for them. I have been told they are awesome to eat. I just can't find any.

    Thanks for any help.......

they're tasty for sure. I just put them in a pan with butter and garlic. Nothin fancy.
I found a ton of recipes, search for Sand Dabs (two words)

Twice fried dabs, Cleaned dab dusted with flour. Fry in oil 5 min. on each side. Place on plate and let cool. Then re-fry for 5 min. on each side. What ever dipping sauce you desire. The reason for the two frying is that the skin and coating will be soggy after the steam lets off, the second frying crisps them up. You'll like this way as I have done it. Jim
