Default Anyone been on the Toronado out of Pierpoint?

Just wondering if anyone has been on the Toronado out of Pierpoint. The Bar I hang out is organizing an overnight trip on this boat in September, any ideas what might be the target species at that time of the year? What gear I should get?

    Thanks

    Hi Bets5150,

Pierpoint Landing has a website and archives for past years fishing. Go check what was being caught in September in past years and you'll have a general idea. I believe they have more than one year. Last year was a little different but still .......... ...

The one time and only time I was on that boat since I moved back to Cali...probably back in 2000, it's the boat I was on. Great experience. There was only 9 or 10 guys and they still took us out, in October. We had a field day with the yellows at Catalina. One dude even let me borrow a rod and real cuz I didn't have the right stuff.
