post grunion run seal beach 6/3

Headed down with the gf around 6 in hoped of going to hungtington to fish the pier for butts and wsb with all the grunion around. got down and got some gs and lugworms, gs for the croakers/corbs and lugworms for perch and small fish to catch big fish. Needlessly to say, we got down to huntington and the water looked like tomato soup. so we decided to go back up to seal beach where the water might be cleaner because of the breakwaters. first time i have headed to seal for cleaner water :lol: . got there and birds and seals and dolphins were crashing everywhere. it was wide open on the pier for big spotfins if you were using muscels. live bait was the ticket for more exciting fish though.

Live bait:

1 short wsb
4 short butts
1 approx. 30+" butt farmed when it wrapped around the piling

Ghostshrimp:

2 big rays
1 smoothound shark

Lugworms:

lots of perch
lots of sardines
lots of grunion
lots of yellowfin

muscles=enormous spotfins
