Well from the pics i see the old rear bearing is still on the spindle you need to pull that off and then get your self a fine metal file and dress it up untill there is no more sharp edges and then get a new set of bearing and see if they slide on the spindel with no wobble meaning the bearing dont rock side to side , and actually where the rear bearing goes it should be fine but the front bearing you need to check , and also get a new axle nut and see how the threads are , did the wheel come off ? or did the it stay on ? if you had to take the axle nut off it should be fine as far as the axle nut goes .

the tire did not come off. the 5 nuts removed the tire, then unscrewed the nut and the drum came off wich was broken on the back.

    Default axle

I do not see that as being feasible for repair or reuse dude. I think it is shot. I have seen one that was not as bad and over the period of a few more trips ; it was disaster. You can get a new axle, the cool spindle through the hub design at championtrailers.com
They have the best quality trailer parts and are in no way associated with champion boats. Hope this helps dude.

    Default Trailer work

There is a place in Anaheim called Dycorp. I think they are on Ball ???? I am not sure. Anyways, they would be able to lead you in the right direction.
