9-29-08 Bugging Madness
last night was awesome i have missed hooping the last few months. i havent been doing much fishing either due to Scuba class so it was a welcomed event to go out hooping plan was to get there at 6pm but sunny wanted to try to leave earlier so i left work early picked up the boat and was in the water at 5:30 pm we waited for ken leeeeeee to show up and off we went by tme we got to the spot Sonny and Loi had the bait cages loaded and cleaned the boat :bow: thanks guys we arrived at Ducs spot and hooped there for 3 sets for 1 legal bug and 9 giant crab talked to duc about it and sonny suggested we go to his spot :ninja: style we drop the hoops and loi starts fishing while we waited for the first pull he got quite a few grumpy calicos nothing more then the 1lb class but still fun to catch .. so we pull the first set and got 5 legals :woot: then pull the next set for 3 legals but 1 was 7.5 lbs (weighed on digital scale) at this point we are out of bait and decide that it was our last pull and on the last pull we got 3 more ... good night on the water .. we did loose 1 conical net :wall: but i rather loose one of those then a regular net we got back to the ramp and by that time loi and Sonny already cleaned most of the mess on my boat so it was a quick rince and we were done and as usual we had plenty of bull$hiting time after the boats were clean
i got a new skipper during the trip
