    Default NPB Squid Adventure!

A few friends and i decided that twilight fishing was something we wanted to try, plus there has been the outrageous reports of giant squid around the Newport Beach Area.

We head out at 8:30 pm, arrive at about 9:45-10:00pm, just in time because fishing got good at about 10:24.

the fish finder looked like it had an animated circus running around the screen!

We pulled up the first squid and were freaked out, because no one knew what to expect, then it became fun.

We got about 12 of them in only in a 1 hour period. That was a work out.

each weighing anywhere from 15-20+ #'s. It was a fun night! We shall return.

Here some pics to share: didnt bring my camera, so i had to take pics after the trip::

Could you post the exact location where you got these giant squid? They looks great. I'll give it a try.

How many miles south of NPH were you fishing?

I want to take my friends out this weekend and see if I can snag one.

Nice work! We were also out there last night and nailed about 400 pounds in 40 minutes.
