    Default Alaska Trip w/Pictures

I arrived in anchorage, alaska on Thursday two weeks ago and nobody was catching Salmon, so me and my Aunt decided to go to homer for Halibut. It turned out to be a very sunny day which was the only day it was Sunny the whole trip. Decided to go out on the Silver Fox since a friend recommended them and it turned out to be a very good trip. The captains name is Chad, which is the same as mine. The crew was very good and I would definately recommend them. I caught two 25lbs that are in the middle of the pic and the biggest fish caught was a 60lb which was caught 5 mins after our first stop. Everyone on the charter caught 2 fish each and 4 halibuts were caught and released.

Yeah, it was a lot of fun and I cant wait to go again. It was my first time catching a halibut, which was a lot harder than I expected. Deep Sea fishing is a good way to get big forearms.
