Default CHANNEL ISLAND 5-26-07 THE GAP (PICS)

FATHER-IN-LAW ASK US IF WE WANTED TO GO OUT WITH HIM TO THE ISLANDS - STUPID QUESTION.
LEFT THE DOCK AROUND 7:00AM -WATER WAS SO SMOOTH YOU COULD WATER SKI IF YOU WANTED TO.
TRIED YELLOW BANKS - HEARD ABOUT WSB - NO LUCK.
MOVED TO THE GAP IN ABOUT 160' OF WATER AND BENDO. WE WERE ALL CATCHING BIG FISH.

WE MADE 3 DRIFTS AND ABOUT 2:00PM DECIDED TO HEAD BACK. SO WHILE THE OTHERS WERE PUTTING STUFF AWAY- I STILL HAD A LIVE SQUID ON THE HOOK, DOWN IT GOES. HITS BOTTOM - TAP TAP AND BENDO. 6 1/2 POUND SHEEPHEAD - GOOD FIGHTER. IN THE BOX IT GOES AND HEADED FOR HOME. RETURN TRIP AT 28 MPH VERY SMOOTH.

    GOOD DAY OF FISHING

No... no Cow Cod in the pic.

I see 5 very nice Reds (Vermillion Rockfish), 2 Goats (Sheepshead), 1 Barberpole (Flag Rockfish), 3 Blue Bass (Blue Rockfish), 1 Whitey Herzog
(Ocean Whitefish), 2 Cuckleheads (Copper Rockfish) and the last one could be a Squarepatch, Greenspot, Starry, Rosethorn or some other small Shelf Rockfish. Can't see it well enough to be certain. NO COW COD there.

    Nice quality, Boys!!!
