Default July 2008 Kenai, Alaska Trip Pics

was planning on putting this in the OUT OF STATE REPORTS section but i guess technically its not a report. just some pics of my recent trip to ALASKA with my family and friends. we all had an awesome time as we usual do and alaska never seems to disappoint!! this year, fishing happened to be one of the best since we started going. enjoy...

we'll start off with the reds..fishing was decent, its been better but its also been worse. most of them were between the 7-11lb range. largest was a lil under 13.

and for those of you that like blood...

halibut fishing this year was horrible..we were all scheduled to go out but come that day, it was blown out with 9 foot swells. however, 4 of us were able to get on another boat on another day. between 4 people, they only caught 2. but did manage decent one.

now the kings..by far the best its ever been for us! first day, 12 of us went out and 11 people caught keepers. caught a few 15-20 lbers but let them go. all in all, i believe we ended up with 15 keepers.

and my brothers killer rainbow. the colors we amazing! the pic does not do it justice!!

with 14 people, we came back with 16 boxes of fish. we wanted a box per person so we were happy with that! 800lbs of fish...no, SALMON!!

and our typical pic wit everyone!
