That link you posted is kinda cool. Nice layout. I would have opted to spray the entire inside with a off white Rhino Liner material.
Just as a suggestion.. If you opt to copy the battery box/fuel tank. You may want to consider adding some vents for the fuel tank vapor..
Battery + Fuel and No Venting = Suprise.. Not good

I think you should first design a box that holds your fuel tank, batteries, flares, and any necessary dynamite. Than sell it for a grand!
The bateries ARE supposed to go inside the console and the gas tank on the outside,,,,The console is a storage box as well,,,there is a lot of things that can fit in there...
