Hollywood Beach 5/26 AM

Got up this morning and shot over to Hollywood Beach to do a little scouting and fishing. I arrived about 6:30 and started fishing by the sand bar for no love. Decided to walk further up the beach towards 5th and check the conditions, throwing my line in here and there. I finally hooked up with some BSP, not too many today I think maybe 5 total. I took a few pics and released them. Caught them on the usual GSW camo. Decided to call it and left around 9:30. Saw a few guys fishing for butts with no luck. Water was crystal clear, but still a bit cold. Waves weren't big 1' on the harbor side of the sand bar and maybe 2'-4' on the other side. 187

Good Job at least avoiding the skunk today Chris. I did about the same down in the southbay today as well. I got a few perch(gulp cammo worm) on the beach and one short halibut about 12' off the jetty on the Dropshot smelt. That was about it. I'm probably heading up your way tomorrow but I'll let you know. We will hit either Ormond or Ventura harbor/Channel Island.
