    Default Huge but Kayaking

Went out with a buddy of mine this saturday from malibu

A third party had notified that he was headed home coz the weather sucked and waves were huge

we said the hell with it and rolled up on them anyways...

got really lucky and made a RAD surf entry with our yaks

made some bait and threw down some spanish macks after 30 mins for this

fished the rest of the day for some really big smelt

    and not much else

made time for a post halibut celebratory snack

good times above and below the water

*highlight of the day was seeing another kayaker get rolled on by a huge 10ft. wave.

    no joke...serious youtube moment

we got really lucky coming into shore and rode a quick lull in the sets

    coz that's how we roll...

Thanks for the report Ironship. I bet that would have been cool to watch you guys busting waves with your yaks. Don't take this the wrong way... but I'm a little bit scared of fishing with you.

    Good job out there!
