    Default Nice Bass and a new Granddaughter

    Day before yesterday, July 14, we once again became grandparents to a whopping 9lb 10 oz baby girl. I took 2 days off for the event and yesterday afternoon took a little time to fish the front pond. To my surprise, I hooked a 1 1/2 lb LMB on the surface on a grasshopper imitation. Then today, I hooked a 2 1/2 lber on a zonker fished just off the bottom. I guess little Zoe's birth brought some good fortune my way. These have been some of the best days off in a long long time, a new granddaughter and some nice bass in a pond that wasn't supposed to have any bass.

    Congratulations on the new grand daughter. She was a big baby. All nice going on the fish as well.
