I was wondering if there was anyone who could give me the recipe for Filipino chicken adobo?

    Default here u go

my homie uncle makes this good but he wont give me the recipes so heres this one i found. enjoy

5 lbs chopped up chicken or chicken wings
    3 tablespoons minced garlic
    1 large chopped onion
    2 bay leaves
    3/4-1 cup soy sauce
    3 tablespoons white vinegar
    1 tablespoon whole black peppercorn
    1/2 cup water
    salt
    10 cups cooked white rice

This serves about 13-15 people. Saute the chicken, garlic, and
onion until browned. Add the rest of the ingredients and cook on
medium heat until it has a stew consistency.
    (Or becomes stew-like)

Note: you may want to try the vinegar and soy sauce a little at time
until you get the right flavor.

    Then serve hot, over rice.

    heres another one

3 - 4 lb. frying chicken, washed and cut up
    1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup light or dark soy sauce
4 or 5 1/4" slices of fresh ginger
5 cloves of garlic, crushed and skins removed
    1/2 cup vinegar
chicken stock to cover (three or four 14 oz. cans of
    off-the-shelf stock should do)
1/2 teaspoon of corn starch, diluted in water
    (if thicker sauce is desired)

    Method:
Put all ingredients (except corn starch) into a large pot, bring to the
boil and then reduce heat to simmer until chicken is tender (approx.
    1 - 1 1/2 hours).

Remove the chicken when it is cooked and "finish and adjust" the sauce
to taste. At this point you'll want to remove the ginger and garlic, add
the corn starch mixture, sugar, vinegar or spices like chiles or a dash of
Chinese Five Spice. Don't forget to start the rice!

wow Oz... you're actually giving lessons on chicken adobo? that is funny. the funnier part is you're giving out a recipe that's way too difficult..

good luck... with oz's recipe.. adobe is actually the easiest dish to make. just make sure you buy the right vinegar otherwise it wont come out right.

    i'll PM you the recipe
