    Default Trueline at Clemente 5-20-07

The Kingfishers of Orange County let me tag along on their charter on the Trueline. Had a great trip. Got on the boat and they had full tanks of squid, no stopping at Catalina. We went straight to Clemente and anchored up at Lost Point (?) The fish started going off when the current picked up. It was a steady pick from about 9:00am untill we left. Lots of very nice quality bass. Most of the fish on the very light sliders or leadheads. The yellows were not line shy. I got them on 50#,40#, 30# and 25#. I fished the small leadheads 3/8 oz. The group ended up with 25 yellows, 100 bass and 30 misc. Ralph had 6 yellows and a 5-3 calico
I ended up with 5 yellows and 5 bass. Very good trip with a nice bunch of guys.....Castaway1

    Nice catch.

But how did you fish in JULY 07 when we are only in May? It must be the time warp thrusters on the boat! :)

Did you guys fish the front or the backside of Clemente?
