    Default There's Bass in the pond!

    I have been fishing my ponds for over 3 years and to my knowledge only one of the three with fish in them had any bass. Well to my surprise, while I was sinking a bead head hare's ear, I hooked about a 10" lmb. I have no idea where he came from, the lady we bought this place from said they only stocked bass in the back pond about a 1/4 mile from the front pond where I caught the dink. I wonder if one of the Herons carried some eggs unknowingly to the front pond.
    Anyway, it's a pleasant surprise to say the least.
