    A couple of times in the past, people have mentioned these little tube/boats, and I actually saw one strapped to an RV last year.

    Yeah, it's pretty slick. I'm not sure they're being sold anymore. But the idea is terrific. I'd be a little worried about slipping out of that seat, though. Also, being hard plastic, it is probably not all that comfortable for long periods.
