    Good luck with Saddlebag. I'll be up the week/end fishing the Mammoth area instead. They've had some freezing temps recently. Tioga Pass will be open but I don't think Saddlebag. If if stays cold, it could very well be early July before the roads open. Luckily the weather is getting nicer. Its OK though. Alpine lakes absolutely go off at ice out. I would say save Saddlebag for another trip after the road is open and the loop is good to hike. Remember, ice out is the best time to catch a trophy golden and its definitely possible in Saddlebag Loop. I've seen goldens in some of those lakes that pushed 14"......
