    Hey Sparky,

    It's a Mexican seafood soup.

boiled vegetales (potato, carrot, zucchini, corn, etc..)
    add to fish stock
    add two bay leaves
Add 51-60ct or larger shrimp (shelled and deveined), mussels (minus shells and beards), clams (shucked), oysters (shucked), boneless chunked fillet of fish (rockfish work best IMO), octopus.
Simmer over low heat until all seafood is ready.
    Remove both bay leaves.
Add a crab leg or five to garnish with the open joint IN the soup.
That's seven different seafoods in your soup....hence, SIETE mares.

Serve with warm corn tortillas, many cut limes, a big ol bottle of tapatio and a few Pacificos.

Sorry I don't have specific measurements, but I usually just attack siete mares by winging it. It always turns out awesome. I usually grill the crab legs and add them to the soup when served on the table. My Ex-suegra (mother-in-law) would add chunks of abalone instead of the crab legs. But the crab legs are an awesome addition. Plus it looks hella cool when you serve it with the legs standing up out of the bowl. :)

    Good stuff!

    Later,
    Scott
