    That's a Tui Chub, the truly only native fish to the Eastern Sierras. Although many species of trout are native to California, most of them were planted in the lakes in the Eastern sierras up to 125 years ago.. No I"m not a professional on this topic, just happen to read an article tonight in a mammoth newspaper..

    Nice pictures.... i caught a fish like that out of lower twin in mammoth, i was kinda confused on what it was.

    Shut up Robbie.. Tui Chub dont get that big.. Whitefish is an Ocean fish ( I think G/D was foolin with ya??)..

    Its a Squawfish...
