    Ok this post is a clear MESSAGE that you need to get yourself a scale. Now youll never know what your first big largemouths weight was around and will always be wondering if the next big one is bigger or not. I understand they are a bit pricy, so maybe you can go with a spring scale at around $14.99 at BASSPROSHOPS.

    BTW, I dont mean to take away from your PB, it's a beautiful fish and obviously you are learning. But here is a 6lber from the Lagoon I caught the other night



    Alot of people thought that was 8-10 lbs, but it wasnt even close. So you be the judge of how big that fish was. It may be around 6 but my guess is about 5.5 lbs. In my opinion, a bass fisherman should never leave home without a digicam or some sort of scale.

    I will say the original fish, based on the picture, is in the 6 pound class.
