    Default Duh-mb question?

Why do you put the trout on/in the bbq if you're going to wrap it in foil? I would understand if it was open to the air/bbq. I also read where you said that would then dry the fish out?

I'm new to eating trout ... but willing. Just, maybe a little slow.

Are there other recipes on this board also?

Putting the fish in foil, then BBQ ing it, cooks the fish like an oven...Just hot air.

If someone was to put a larger sized trout on the grill (no foil ) the outside of the fish would be dried out and the inside still would be raw.

BBQ ing a trout outside keeps the fish smell outside as opposed to inside the house too.

There are a lot of recipes here on this section...

SocalGuy: From June 19 to June 21 you will be undergoing a rigorous examination of your BBQ Trout Skills at Parcher's Resort. For the betterment of mankind, and in true altruistic sacrifice, I have designated myself the official BBQ trout tasting Judge. Bring your BBQ trout "A" game!! (FYI: I just picked up some cedar planks and plan on "planking" some trout fillets on the grill!!)
