Default which is a better jigging rod for the sierras?

    Hey everyone,
I am heading up to the Sierras this month, but I can't decide weather to being my 5 foot ultra light sojourn, or my 5'6'' light cherrywood. I will be using the rod for both trout worms and jigs, and they are both graphite composite. Any suggestions on which one to use would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Fisherkid

You generally use long ultra light rods for mini jigging, such as a 7' to 8' rod. If those are your only two options go for the 5'6".

I agree...the longer ultra-light rod at least 6' would be better.
