Default Caught so many fish the coast guard showed up! .PiX.5/13/07

Well not really for us  ,There was actually some kind of accident on the lbc inlet jetty and the uscg was there local mp's helicopters .lifeguards est it was quite a sight ,whoever was hurt was lifted into the copter 2 people .... well we had a really great day hit some usual spots and were landing some masssive cabbies ,perch ,Sandies, and I even scored a few sheep .The day actually started out windy and we were dissapointed but the wind let up for the good half of the day before picking up later in the afternoon ..It was nice on mothers day nice and peacefull out there with light crowds. We actually cruised some deeper waters to see if any yt's were around but that was a big negative .After getting back to the ramp we were inspected and interviewed by the fish and game people ,they said out of everybody they talked to all day we completeley outfished everybody who has come back throughout the day and everybody was saying how bad it was today .. Well we had fun and my nose got surnburned ,watched a rescue by helicopter ,so it was a good day.Enjoy the pixxxx.Captian crunch ...oops I mean postal .

    Nice fish
We were doing the whole mother's day thing at the "Rivers End" restaraunt at the Seal Beach jetty. We were wondering what happened. A lot of people thought USCG was doing training. With all the PB'ers and heavy onshore wind I thought it was a stupid place to do training. Thanx for clearing that up and for the great report.
