SANTA BARBARA and the BANANA

pull up the the harbor at 7am, kemper and james were already at the dock eating some breakfast. and what's james eating? a f'n banana and a banana nut muffin. i tell him to drop that dirty son of a ***** right now, but he just smiles and eats it. "you killed us all" i say, and we jump on the boat with capt david bacon and tiffany. well, go to fish calicos at a little up north at some kelp - nothing. we drift for halibut - nothin. we fish a oil rig with a strong current - james gets a huge chocolate bass. im so mad about this god damn banana by now. capt brings us to 4 mile and all of us pick up a few small ground fish. bekah gets a nice sized red, i got 2 short lings, everyone had 1 keeper. it was slow slow slow.
