    Default Simple Chinese striper/trout Recipe

Posted this another section.... figure it would be better fit here... Enjoy!

    Mom's simple Chinese recipe...(whole fish)

After cleaning and scaling the fish make a couple slits on each side... lightly salt and pepper and throw some green onions in the belly and in the slits...

You can steam, pan fry, or grill the whole fish on the BBQ. If grilling make sure to add baste some olive oil to prevent it from sticking to the grill....

    Sauce:
get a pan nice and hot with some oil and throw in some minced/chopped garlic and chopped green onions and let them sauté for just a couple minutes...

Then pour some seasoned soy sauce... (you can experiment with how much you want to use... start with a smaller amount and add more if needed) Turn down the flame and let it simmer like 20 seconds (if it boils up turn off the flame... it is ready) and that is it. pour this delicious sauce over your cooked striper and don't forget the steamed rice!

This is the sauce I use... its the shiet!

I hope you guys try it and enjoy it! I love it! It works great with trout too... (usually steamed)

This is good stuff, the same fish recipe that they serve during the Asian wedding receptions. :D

Looks great! I've never tried that with trout, usually filleted rock cod.

    Thanks for the heads-up!
